I'm 15/f. So my mom assures me that my knees are dark because I crawled on the floor a lot as a baby, which would make sense, if it weren't for the fact that my elbows are also dark. I mean, these two areas of my body are REALLY dark. It's as if they stitched parts of another person onto me. I never show my legs because of this, and it's very rare for me to wear short sleeves, even in the summer. I spent 60 bucks on this cream called Meladerm, which you're supposed to use twice a day. I forget sometimes, but I put it on some dark spots on my face and I haven't really seen any difference, despite its guarantee of results after just 2 weeks. Does anyone know anything at all that might help lighten these areas?

Crawling makes your knees dark? i think it might be because theres extra skin for when you cross your legs it doesnt like rip or something. But you could try concealer. but who really cares if a patch of your skin is darker then the others? You could also try tanning, and covering the spots with a towel or useing a higher SPF lotion on it. [ Lauraaxhelps's advice column | Ask Lauraaxhelps A Question ]
