What's this on my eyelashes?

Question Posted Friday July 4 2008, 9:23 am

Everytime I look in the mirror, I see white stuff on the tip of my eyelashes and it's driving me crazy! I don' know what it is and it certainly isn't normal because i don't see anyone with white stuff at the tip of their eyelashes. And I doubt that it's dandruff.

Does anyone know?

It's actually quite normal. the tip of my eyelashes are whitish as well. do you have black eyelashes? becaus ethen it's easier to see. but you might also not see it by others because it's very light, almost transparent.
just put mascara on them because the paint will cover it.
but it's no big deal really. some have it more, some less and some dont have it at all.

If it's like the same size as your eyelashes, then it could be the ends of your eyelashes going white.
That happened to me.
They grew out though :)

If it looks like crumbs, I suggest brushing your eyelashes with a eyelash comb.
Also, if you use eyelash curlers, check that they are clean. In the future, clean them once a month or so.
Oh yeah, if this doesn't work, then have a shower, and close your eyes. Then gently pull your fingers over your eyelashes in a downward motion...
Hope that makes sense.

If nothing seems to improve, I suggest asking your doctor the next time you visit him/her.

Ask if you have any more questions.
