And let me tell you waxing sure brings along a good level of pain. One important thing while you're waxing is to make sure it's not too hot, but not too thick either. When you wax, the hair takes much longer to come back, but I found the pain to be brutal. Shaving doesn't hurt, just the way & time length it grows back differs from the waxing (it comes back faster as you've noticed)
And keep in mind that before you wax, you have to, well let yourself grow enough to wax. If you swim and such alot, that turns to be an inconvenience, but that's just my opinion.
Hope it helped :) [ vindicated's advice column | Ask vindicated A Question ]

I know someone who had an allergic reaction to the wax she used, and it was atrocious. However, using the wax on JUST your bikini line probably wouldn't be sooo bad. ccupcake07 answered Monday June 30 2008, 11:04 am: Well i have a friend who waxed down there and it ripped her skin open and took it a long time to heal...she said she will never do it again even though the hair hasn't grown back in a long time. The reason her skin ripped was probably because she had the wax to hot or something so it might not happen to you if you do it right. So, if you wax right, then i would go with that because it takes a long time for the hair to grow back. But if you are nervous and think it would hurt you to much, i would just stick with razors. Good luck! [ ccupcake07's advice column | Ask ccupcake07 A Question ]
