for how long after you get your wisdom teeth out can you not drink out of a straw? is it just for the first day or two, or the whole time the stitches are in?
vindicated answered Sunday June 29 2008, 9:41 pm: I suggest waiting until the stitches are out and you're healed, because the suction can cause the wounds to open up again. LiLMAMAx answered Sunday June 29 2008, 8:41 pm: I think it would be better to wait until your mouth fully heals & feels better before you drink out of a straw. I know that it's real easy to get dry socket if you don't do everything your suppose to while your mouth is healing. I know that dry socket is worse pain than getting your teeth pulled. Good luck hun. ♥ [ LiLMAMAx's advice column | Ask LiLMAMAx A Question ]
