Wait a few days. Your stitches dissolve/come out on their own within 2-3 days anyway.

Wait until the stitches are out!!!

This is the voice of experience speaking: I thought I was fine and I loved my chocolate milk through a straw.

I popped a stitch, swallowed way too much blood (really, any at all is too much) and spend a night in the emergancy room.

It's worth it to wait.

I suggest waiting until the stitches are out and you're healed, because the suction can cause the wounds to open up again. Take it from someone who learned the hard way. Though maybe I just have bad luck...

I think it would be better to wait until your mouth fully heals & feels better before you drink out of a straw. I know that it's real easy to get dry socket if you don't do everything your suppose to while your mouth is healing. I know that dry socket is worse pain than getting your teeth pulled. Good luck hun. ♥

Just for 24 hours so your wounds heal and you dont suck out the stitches.
