i thought i had a ton of stomach hairs, and well i kind of do, but i recently noticed that they dont look noticeable really unless im out in the sunlight, so my stomach doesnt bother me unless i am outside. so...since its not that bad i think i should just shave every once in awhile based on other peoples advice. ive heard so many different things......does shaving your stomach make hairs grow back any thicker than before or not? please only answer if you know for sure!! thanks!

My hair has never grew back thicker or darker.. I actually shaved my arms a lot and it actually grew back less noticeable so I don't have to shave it anymore.
I'll shave your stomach BUT wax your 'happy trail' if you have one [even if it's light] It took about a month for the hair to grow back. I'm sure if you wax the whole stomach, it would take longer to grow back. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
vindicated answered Tuesday June 24 2008, 1:01 am: I wouldn't shave. Basically the shaving does as it does for say your legs: it grows more stubbly, and rough, because it grows at a new angle (I'm not saying the angle always changes, but I mean from the natural angle it grows), which is also why it's more noticeable. Honestly, I'd wax; it's really quick, and briefly painful (but just barely) for what, like a few seconds, and then you're set for a few weeks and you don't have to worry about it growing back funny.
