I'm pretty sure this song is just about doing drugs, you know "feed your head". But I've heard many theories.
Can anyone help me out?
One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall
And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
Has given you the call
Recall Alice
When she was just small
When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving slow
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know
When logic and proportion
Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
Remember what the dormouse said;
"FEED YOUR HEAD
_______________
FEED your head"

Which inspired Jefferson Airplaine to compose such a song. I dunno if that was much help but it was worth a try =| [ xxxRadioGagaxxx's advice column | Ask xxxRadioGagaxxx A Question ]

I think Grace and the Jefferson Airplane is singing about psychedelic drugs like acid and mushrooms. or, it also could mean feed your head with knowledge, the song could have deeper meaning [ person43's advice column | Ask person43 A Question ]
