I am sixteen years old, 5’6, and I weight 186 lbs. I know I am over weight and am trying to change that. What are some beneficial exercises I can do? I would like to lose thirty pounds total and I have little time. I know I need to change my eating habits to and am currently trying to eat only 1500 calories a day. Any tips or suggestions would be great:)

Try to go swimming as often as possible, its the best excersise you can do as it works all muscles, and even if you are just playing in the water, you still use more energy than on land.

Try to eat three or four SMALL meals a day, this will speed up your metabolism, also before eating the meal, try to eat one or two raw veggies or pieces of fruit. If you have issues getting hungry while on a diet, try taking a fibre supliment before you eat, this will fill you up a bit more and its good for you.

On the whole though, loosing weight fast can be bad for you, so if you find you're loosing more than say 4lb a week, I would eat a little more!

An AMAZING workout is winsor Pilates. She has many pilates but this one is called the 20 minute workout (its about 28 minutes) Its genious. Its kind of a challenge and tricky. But It works so fast. I honestly did it for four days and people were complimenting my body. Its amazing. She also has cardio pilates if your into that kind of thing its fun, like she gives you dance routines to do and you put them all together and its just fun. But with the 20 minute workout you work every possible place where you wold wanna loose weight from. From your gut, arms,legs,butt, stomach. And the thing i like best about it is it never gets old its fun fast and beneificial. Its greattt. Hahah. I would recommend it to anyone. Well i hope that gives you an idea you were looking for. Try running a mile each day, doing sit ups and such. You don't need fancy equipment. And instead of just eating 1500 calories, try eating just less fatty foods (or 1500 GOOD calories). You know, get more grains and veggies and fruits in your system to raise your metabolism!
