when do guys stop growing?
i have a friend whos 5'3 ish and he's 17

My older brother is 25. He didn't really start hitting puberty until he graduated high school. It's somewhat funny to ask, actually. He used to be this scrawny, puny, gawky kid. Now he's somewhat muscular, a few inches taller, and a lot better looking (at least that's what a lot of my friends think...).

Each guy is different. Some guys start growing around 12 and don't stop until they're 22 or so. Some guys don't start until they're 17. Some guys grow for 3 years, and they're done.
My point is, there is no definite answer. He still has a few more years left before he's out of the "puberty range", as I'll call it. Puberty generally takes place between 13-18, but, like I said, it varies for each guy. I myself started growing around 13, and I'm not sure I'm done yet. I'm 17 this November.
