who is the REAL girl who went into the studio and sang this song originally for her?

which female voice was used in singing this song in ALADDIN?



is it lea salonga? it sounds like her in the song but supposedly some other girl sang it??

when the song is played during the movie, Lea Salonga us the one singing it. However the single version of the song that is played during the end credits is sung by Regina Belle.
