I got my period on May 3rd and then got it again on May 26th. I was not due to get it unitl June 4th. So I got it twice in May. Then I started bleeding again when I was really supposed to get it on June 4th. Its not brownish in color where I would of thought it was just the end of a period that I got on May 26th its very red. Do you know what could have happened?
Although the first year or two of your menstrual cycles will naturally not be perfect, they should not come dramatically close together. This can lead to serious issues because you are losing blood with each cycle. You can easily become iron deficient (signs/symptoms linked below):
...but that really is for a doctor to determine. Please speak to your doctor about this issue if you feel you have most of the symptoms.
The 23 days in between really isn't so bad and you shouldn't be too concerned about it; however, going 9 days between periods is not good at all and is not considered normal by any means. If I have misunderstood and you have bleed bright-red for 9 days straight then you still need to see a doctor soon because it is not normal or healthy for your body.
My periods were really messed up for a long time. I didn't know it but I had a cyst on my ovary that was causing my ovary to continue releasing eggs more frequently than it should have. Cysts can actually be cancerous in some cases, and if left untreated may grow until they burst--rupturing your ovary as well. This being said, you need to see a gynecologist about your menstrual issues in case you have the same issue I had.
So, for awhile I had periods with short breaks in between. I remember having two heavy periods with one week of no period in between them. It seemed to only get worse with them and I remember having a period for almost two months straight near the end (before I saw a doctor for the problem).
It's better to be safe now than to be sorry later. Please see your health provider and let them know what has happened with your cycles. If they are like my doctor, they will do an ultrasound to make sure everything is alright in there. It's ALWAYS best to get your health checked even with little things to ensure a good life ahead so please make a doctor's appointment as soon as you can fit it into your schedule.
I hope I've helped you to know it's important seek out professional help for your menstrual issues. I do hope everything will be alright and the doctor says you're healthy with nothing to worry about. [ Peeps's advice column | Ask Peeps A Question ]

I don't think anything is wrong with you, but then again I'm not a doctor. If you're unsure and you want to know if everything is fine- ask your doctor. They will know better than us.
