belly ring

i got my belly button pierced 3 months ago and its still all red around the hole thats above my belly button. i clean it everyday with soap and it never gets infected, and i have a hoop ring so its easier to clean but the redness wont go away. how do i get it to stop being red and when can i change the ring?

Whatever you do, You do not want to touch or play with it. Some people can't peirce there bodies because it either gets infected or it doesn't work out. You might want too use cleaner that the peircing place should have giving you if not I would suggest First aid lubricant. If the redness keeps up I would go back to the peircing place and see what they suggest.

Sounds like everything you are doing is good. Did the place you got it pierced at give you any cleaner to use on it? Other than that, just stop touching it. If the redness doesn't go away within a week, get it checked out.
