bathing my dog
I have a bichon-shitzu mix. She's like 9 mos and around 15 lbs I think.
How often am I supposed to bathe her?? I know it depends on the kind of dog, so if you have a small dog similar to that, how often do you bathe him/her?

honestly you really don't have to bathe small dogs that often.. it's kinda bad if you bathe them too much. my aunt has a shitzu and she bathes her once a month in the winter/fall time (cus the weather obv) but in the summer i would say every 2 weeks...but if your dog goes outside alot then once a week.

i have a 13 inch beagle and we usually bathe him once a week. We usually blow dry him after that so he wont get sick or cold too... use warm water

I bathe my dog once a month usually. He's a terrier.
Also, if she's afraid of water, I'd suggest that you use warm water, as cold water tends to scare them and make the experience not so pleasant. Feed her a biscuit after so that she associates the bath as a positive thing.
