moving out, without foster care
okay im 14 and my boyfriend is 18
my dad smokes illegal mariwana and my mom is an alcoholic, once i turn 16 can i move out legaly into my boyfriends appartment? considering my parents by law cant really support me?

and if that doesnt work theres always emancipation but you have to think the through because one you do it, it cant be reversed.

It may depend on where you live. When you turn 16, you may be emancipated from your parents if you can prove that they can't support you. Also, you have to prove that you can support yourself (like have a job) while staying in school until you're 18. However, since you are technically a minor and your boyfriend is not, that may cause problems- are there any other family members you could live with for the time being? If you can't find other relatives to live with, you will most likely have to wait until you're 16 to talk to a lawyer. Good luck, I hope this works out for you.
