I have a scar on me that I got when I was about 7. I'm 13 now, and its really bugging me. It's on my right kneecap, and it takes up the whole space of that part of my knee. It makes me feel insecure when I wear shorts and skirts. What could I do to feel less secure?

I wanted to say that in response to the first person:
You can't remove scars..cause then you'd have a removing scar..
What doctors do is a form of ''plastic'' surgery.
They basically take skin from another part of your body, and then put it on the scar, and the skin will grow over and adapt.

EVERYONE askes what its from and i have to tell them. i have a scar on my knee too, but there is a really funny story behind it. i have a scar between my eyes from when i broke my head open. i have another scar on my left hand from when my dog scratched me. you see, i'm not like everyone else because i have certain things about me which make me special and different. scars aren't that big of a deal. its not going to be like people won't talk to you because of it. and if they won't, do you really want to be tlaking to them? anyway, what i'm trying to say is that if your feeling like this you don't have to. I sometimes feel the same way but then think of all the people who have NOTHING unique about them. i feel bad for them, rather than myself.
hope i helped
