PWNED is more of a video game lingo its used most often in Halo a X-box video game pwning is the action of being blowing up by a rocket or frag gernade its also a dis > as making fun ,or making less of a gamers charitor ect is a leetspeak slang term, derived from the word "own",[1][2][3] that implies domination or humiliation of a rival, used primarily in the Internet gaming culture to taunt an opponent who has just been soundly defeated. Past tense is sometimes spelled pwnt (pronounced with a t sound), pwned, pwnd, pwn3d, or powned (with the standard d sound). Examples include "pwnage" or "you just got pwned".

Ok, so pwned is synonymous with the word owned.
Now gather 'round children, and I'll tell you the story of the word pwned. One day, someone was playing in Counter Strike 1.6 and was enjoying his (waste of) time immensely. As all Internet gamers, this guy was sort of an asshole and had a huge ego to feed. He began to senselessly destroy his opponent, and when the round restarted he let out a resounding, "Owned!". However, he had not proofread and had made a typo. He accidentally replaced the O with a P, and from there, the word pwned caught on to describe the senseless destruction/rape/ownage exhibited by one person on another. The end.
