my appetites crazy!

Question Posted Tuesday May 13 2008, 9:06 pm

so, im 17.. about 5'7 and 150lbs. Its not exactly overweight, but I do know I've got some extra flub that I really don't want. I try to eat less, and lately it seems like all I've been doing is eating.. and nothing healthy. I get so bored that that ends up all I do. What are some ideas to keep myself from over eating? and what are some ways to lose some weight by summer?! thanksss

If you feel like you have to eat, do it before 8pm. Try to not eat after 8pm. Our bodies have a biological clock and tells us to slow down and get ready to sleep. You will burn more calories before 8pm then any part of the day...

well first of all, body weight is not all about food. get out and excersice, even if its just walking. Not only will mind stay occupied and not be thinking of food, but you'll also be burning calories. second cut out sugary drinks and excessive desserts from your diet. try to limit yourself to one glass of juice a day, but no soda! another helpful tip is to drink a glass of water before every meal. if halfway fills you up, without the calories. be sure to eat a well-balanced diet. take low fat snacks and fruits and veggies for on the go.

Well eating healthy is a habit and its about making it a lasting habit. I lost 5 pounds in just cutting out soda and drinking water. Look at calories, trans fat, sugar, sodium and portion. All those things are key factors in gaining and losing weight. Pre-pack some snacks for the week buy baby carrots, cut some celery sticks up, drink diet drinks, and fat free foods. Also cut back on things you know are bad like fast food and processed foods. And also treat yourself once a week. The minute you cut out the bad and add the good the more you will be turned away from foods that will make you pack on the pounds. I did it cold turkey and now when i have a cheeseburger all i taste is fat and salt your body will soon adjust to the change and foods you once loved wont be so appetizing. Remember this is your body and the food you but into it will affect you. So take care of it now before its too late.
