a new diet hey, im looking for a new diet that will help me get my fat down, but not my muscle, i weigh 245, and 14 years old and i need to get down 20 pounds of just fat... any ideas of a good diet to stick to, i need to get my weight down just before football bcuz im planning on playing the mike linebacker on varsity this year

actually i would suggest more cardio workout. even if you were over 6 ft tall (which would partially explain your weight), 245 is definitely on the hefty side for a 14 yr old. this means too many cals, and you should be burning more than you are consuming in order to lose that weight.
it's not all up to what you eat. in any event, start asking your parents for lower cal snacks around the house. stay away from bread, pasta, and baked goods. instead, fruits, veggies, grains.
and you don't lose muscle by cardio work-out. ]
