How do you find a therapist and are they expensive? I don't have health insurance and I haven't been to a doctor since I was a little kid so I don't have a doctor to ask. I'm in college and I make barely enough money to buy food and pay rent. I think I'm bi-polar and I want to learn how to deal with it and handle it better - it's already ruined alot of friendships and I can't handle homework/class when I'm really low so I've already failed/dropped way too many classes because of it. If I can't afford a therapists where can I go to get diagnosed or at least someone to talk to? I'm not religious so I can't talk to anyone like that. Give me some advice :(

-you can call your parents and ask them for the help and explain to them very rationally that you need help and that your having a hard time. Now if your bipolar that is really hard to control your moods personally im 15 and bipolar and b4 i wasa on meds i moods were all over the place but bascically it might help to get in contact with ur parents because they might be your only hope. You can't really see a therapist if you don't have money. They're always expensive. The cheapest therapist/psychologist I've heard of is like $100 per visit. If you see a psychiatrist, they will probably charge you more plus prescriptions for medications, which is also very expensive.
