I'd guess the first problem would be that you're trying to mix Microsoft and Apple, which typically doesn't work very well. Assuming that that isn't the proplem and that it's a valid version of word (as in not pirated and downloaded of the net) then I'd say try just uninstalling and reinstalling it. If you don't have the disks to install it yourself then you could always try downloading a trial from Microsoft and putting in your serial number to it, that or just download a pirated version. If it already is a pirated version than it's probably corrupt and you should just find another version of it. If you need any more help on it or some other issues pop up feel free to contact me.
