Using baby oil will get you really burnt.
Never use baby oil when you tan. Not only
will this cause you to burn more easily, but ultraviolet rays will also become focused and magnified on your skin, increasing the chance
of skin cancer. Skin cancer isn't just for
the older crowd. You can get it at any age.

If you want to use oil, use Banana Boat, they sell it in a brown spray bottle. You can usually find it in a drug store or groceory store.

Also, if you want to continue using the tanning bed, get a tanning lotion, from the tanning salon, with a bronzer in it. It will make you tanner.

And, you really should NOT under ANY circumstances be tanning in a bed for an hour long. The only results you will get is a MAJOR sunburn and when you're older plasticy skin and maybe skin cancer. If you aren't seeing a sunburn, then the tanning bed must not be working.

The longest you should stay in a tanning bed is for 20 minutes, and always use a 'tanning bed tanning lotion' which is sold @ tanning salons, like I said.

Do NOT use the oil in the tanning bed!

It takes time to see results when you are white. I've been tanning for almost 3 years and still don't have as good of results against my friends who are naturally tan. I can go tanning ten times and have the same results as if they went once. Just be patient, it takes time.

Hope I Helped & if you need anymore questions about tanning, I know quite abit. Good Luck !

Yes, baby oil will probably work. I don't see why it wouldn't because oil in general makes you darker. Most people get really dark on their T-zone (nose and forehead) because that's where the majority of oil is on their face.

Anyways, you really should NOT use baby oil because it has no sunscreen in it. It will get you dark, but won't protect you against harmful UV rays which will increase your risk of sun cancer. AND, because you have very fair skin, you are at a higher risk of getting skin cancer since you don't have as much melanin. People really don't take this skin cancer seriously because they don't see immediate results, but when you get older you'll really be sorry.

Instead of putting yourself at risk, have you tried self tanning sprays or lotions? There are so many of those products at meijer. there is also the kind that you put on daily and gradually build up a tan. Those are A LOT safer than burning yourself. Just be safe! But if you still want to go in the sun, there's a tanning lotion called Swedish beauty. I heard it works well.

baby oil works very well yes. i use it almost always, it does get sorta messy, but it still attracts the sun. but it doesn't prevent against sun-burns. so if you are really white like you said, chances are the first time you layout with baby oil you will get burned.
