help!! my finger is swollen and im in pain!! what can i do??

you know those lose skins by your nails well i pulled a piece of skin off the side of my nail now my finger is really swollen and it hurts!! is this normal what can i do to stop the swolling and the pain??

In addition to the advice the advice said below remeber to keep it wrapped and covered. It will hurt, but its like a papercut or a stubbed toe. You can't really do much about the pain except take asprine. It will heal soon, so no worries.

Ouch! I'm assuming you're talking about a hangnail? Next time you have one of those, just trim it as low down as you can instead of pulling it off.

I hope you cleaned the area with soap and water ASAP to prevent infection. Maybe apply some first aid antibiotic ointment and a band-aid as well.

You could rub an ice cube on it to make the swelling go down.
