Pregnant?

Question Posted Thursday April 17 2008, 10:07 pm

My boyfriend and I had sex (WITH A CONDOM) about a month ago and I realized my period was late. I mean I was stressed about A LOT and sick on top of that so I realize those could be a factor to it being later than normal... therefore I didn't panic too much.

But I kept getting normal stomach aches... not exactly cramps but I felt like my period was about to come. Although it was a few weeks late it eventually came, although it was extremely light... should I be worried?

I mean usually my periods don't completely end for an entire week. They start off kinda heavy and gradually lighten up... but it's like this one started kinda light and then stopped completely within 3 days...

I heard periods can come right after you have sex sometimes, even if you are pregnant. should I be worried? I mean my next period shouldn't be coming until the end of this month but I'm concerned that somehow something in the condom could have seeped through and entered me.

Do you think I could be pregnant? Or is this normal? I mean my periods been late before but not where it's been extremely light like this.

are there any symptoms I should look for?
My breasts haven't been sore
I haven't been having morning sickness
I haven't been having cravings out of the ordinary...

but I have been having vaginal discharge. I get that every once in a while anyway but I mean is this a sign of pregnancy? It's creamy and white but I mean I seem to be getting it more than normal...

please help. thanks.

There have been a few cases where pregnant women have still had their periods, but they have been alot lighter than normal. Here are some early symtpoms of pregnancy: Delay/Difference in menstration, fatigue, headaches, backaches, frequent urination, nipple coloration[they may become darker], and food cravings. I think your best bet would be to get an at home pregnancy test, because there could be a chance that you are pregnant. Get the test and then go from there.

Hope I Helped.

I don't think you are pregnant. Its
perfectly normal to have periods
that are lighter than others. Its
normal to have some that are very
heavy. None of those things you
mentioned having are signs of
pregnancy.

Here is an interesting site for you

questions and many more. Its info
you should have if you are going to
be sexually active.

Well, did you JUST start having sex?, Like recently?
Everything you described happened to me when I started having sex, and I never got pregnant. My period came light, but it came back normal after a while.
I think there's nothing to be worried about, BUT that's just based on my own experience, since I experienced pretty much all the same symptoms you're describing....

If you're still worried, the best way to find out is to take a pregnancy test.
