okays well im 14 and a female. theres this guy i really like, and im pretty sure he likes me. we talk all the time. and flirt. his friends are telling him to ask me out and my friends are tellin me to ask him out. im thinkin aobut askin him out, but what if he says no. our friendship would be weired. but i think we should give it a chance by going out. i think we would make a good couple. do you think i should take the chance and ask him out??? or wait for him too???

for me, i'd be so scared to ask a guy out! so i say flirt with him lots, like it will give him the hint. if he flirts back then you will know he likes you and if he likes you enough he'll end up asking you out himself. then you won't need to worry about you asking him out.
if he doenst flirt back, then you'll know if he isnt interested.

hey im 14 too and i know what you mean. i think if you really like him, and youre really good friends, you should give it a try. if youre as good of friends as you say you are, then if you DID break up, i dont think it would be awkward since youre such good friends and stuff. you would probably be awkward for a week or so, but then after that it would all be normal again. thats what happened with me and my guy friend that i went out with.

You can show him that you like him and are interested without asking him out. Flirt around alot and even joke about you dating and if you feel after a few days you feel like you want to move it to the next level ask him if he likes you and then let him know you like him. Then if you still feel like you want to move up a level ask him out. I know it's hard to ask a guy out and let him know you are out there, it is very difficult to put yourself out there that close to rejection, but the worst he can do is say no and if he does then well you can move on. I'm pretty sure he won't say no if he really likes you as much as you say he does. Things will work out fine.

if your in a moment, and you feel like its the perfect time to ask him out, i say go for it.
he might be too scared to do it and sometimes to get things in life you have to go for it.
but if its an awkward moment, and you just bring it out of the blue, it might freak him out and you don't want that. just wait til the timing is right.
