Transfer music from Ipod to Itunes? Okay, so I recently got a new laptop and need to transfer the songs on my old itunes to my new laptop. How do I get the songs off my ipod to the itunes on this laptop?
I've tried a few online tutorials but can't seem to get it to work. When I plug in the ipod and go to My Computer, about 200 songs show up but none that are on my ipod. I really don't want to download anything, so please don't suggest that.
So does anybody have any good tutorials or ideas? Thank you so much.

i know you said you don't want to download anything, but the only method i can think of (other than getting the music off your old computer) is getting Adobe Photo Downloader. I think it came with my Photoshop Elements 3.0..or something. Well anyway. It's actual purpose is getting photos off cameras and whatnot, but if you plug in your iPod you can get music from it. ]

I wrote that answer a long time ago but it should still work regardless of the iPod model you have. ]
on your old computer, get a CD, and burn a data disc, with your old songs and put them onto your new computer. that is the only way i know of how to get them on your new one!
Hope I helped! ]
The best thing that I can think of is either getting an rewritable CD and use that to trasfer songs to your new iTunes library or getting a Memory Stick that's compatible with your laptop AND your computer and put the songs on there. I hope this helps a bit! ]
