So now open My Computer. Under the "Tools" menu, go to "Folder Options..." and click the "View" tab. Click "Show Hidden Files and Folders" then click ok. Now, your iPod should show up (it'll be faded out though)
Now, click on the iPod icon that showed up, and go to iPod_control. There's a "music" folder with 50 folders (more or less, depending on what kind of iPod you have) folders named F00, F01, etc. Make a folder (either on your desktop or My Music, wherever you keep your music files). Open each folder (the F00 ones), click on a file ( they'll have names like HFJR, but that's okay), and hit CRTL+A (to select all) then CTRL+C (to copy) Then, open the new folder you just created & paste(CTRL+V). Repeat for all six folders.
Then, open iTunes and click File->Add Folder to Library->[folder name you created] and click OK.
