KNEe Dislocation

I need help with knowing how to stop my knee from hurting .. i dislocated it today & i dont know how to stop the pain .. And what can i do to prevent this from happening again and yes i been to the doctor but i forgot to ask him what might help to reduce the pain because it hurtss

Ibeuprofen can be a big help, also make sure and keep the weight off of it. Keeping it elevated can also help and whenever you can put the ace wram tight that helps alot. Pressure also helps and the ice sometimes helps the pain.
