I really hate being jelous of people...but when one of my friends gets everything: everyone likes her, she gets stright A's, got into the TOP chior, has gone to EVERY top band thing, pretty, outgoing, everything i am not....I don't want to be jelous of her.....
Any ideas on how to make myself feel better around her?(everytime i am around her i feel so inferior and like she could be friends w/ better people)
i'm also in band, and i'm pretty jealous of some of my friends because they are a lot higher than me. and sometimes a lot of ppl get it thrown in their face. well i have to tell you not to compare yourself with her. play as best you can and the real TOP person in the end is yourself. you don't need to make anyone else happy either.
i have a friend everyone likes. and a lot of guys like me too. we actually got into a fight over some stuff in that catagory. but we were tired of being mad and talked it out. she only ended up with her ex bf again. and for me, i just realized, it's not that great to have everyone like you. just because they do doesn't mean it'll work out. you see what i'm saying? so i'm telling you that you should just ignore her and the guys because i'm sure you'll find better than all those people. =]
and for the straight A's. i get most A's but not all. and in school, again, just do the best you can. you're work will pay off later. ;)
altogether, just don't worry about what she's doing. i always have my friends telling me not to make other people's problems my problems. in this case, don't form any problems of your own.
you're just as equal as she is. and if you think about it, she may have it great, but she could be jealous of you for some things. you'll never know. she's your friend like you said, so i think you should talk it out with her about how you are feeling towards her.
trust me, everything will be better.
good luck. =]
