some guys can just be plain out rude & obnoxious & they don't realize that they are being mean.
all boys are immature no matter their age.
but remember when you were in first grade & whenever a boy liked you, he would kick you or throw things at you? this may be another situation like that, where he may like you & feel you only notice him when he's being mean.
but then again, he could just be rude.

It's funny, it's like there is an age of "crossing over" from being "mean" to show a girl that he likes her to being "nice"..
