problem with aim 6.0

Ok so yesterday i downloaded aim 6.0 and it was workng fine. Today i tried to sign on but everytime i clicked the aim icon it would show up for like two seconds then disapear. Why is this happening? Also i tried downloading it again but it was no use, how can i get it to work permanetly?

Check if you have any kind of firewall or virus protection blocking it from starting up if you have Windows. Also, go to your Windows Firewall and try turning it off and running it again.. If that doesn't work..restart your computer and try clicking on it only once. I hope that helped somehow..
