in school, were learning about what careers we want to persue in the future, like the stuff that were interested in. im really interested in helping animals and helping stop global warming and that kind of stuff.
but...i dont know what career i can go into to do that stuff. can anyone help??
vermillion26 answered Sunday April 6 2008, 12:35 am: I'm not sure if this is really considered a career by some people, but you might consider becoming an activist. An activist chooses a cause (animal rights, improving air quality, etc.) and organises events and steps towards helping their cause. They might put together an organization or start a letter writing campaign or organise protests or demonstrations, etc.
Also, you might consider getting into politics, if that interests you at all. As a politician you could change the world for the better through policy changes, etc.
These are just a couple options open to you, try to combine your passion for improving the world with other passions of yours (e.g. if you discover a passion for law you may want to be an environmental lawyer, etc.)
Hope I helped. [ vermillion26's advice column | Ask vermillion26 A Question ]
