I am in 8th grade and there is going to be an eighth grade dance on may 30th. i need a dress. kind of fancy, and i want no one else to have it. I live in New York, not in the city. I live near commack if anyone knows where that is. Thanks <3

umm i think abercrombie MIGHT be a little to casual for an eighth grade dance. i know at my 8th grade dance (i'm a freshman now) girls really went all out and got their hair and nails done and everything.
i'd say try mandee's, wetseal, forever21 or swell. (just google them) and take a look at what they have.
shoes don't have to be super fancy. kitten heels would be fine. also i wouldn't bother getting my hair done because all we did at the dance was dance like in a club. all the girls' hair got messed up and it wouldn't be worth it to get your hair or make-up done. just curl / straighten it at home.
prom would be a bigger deal -- save money for then.
