Question Posted Saturday July 5 2008, 8:22 pm

A boy named Hosea asked me to be his girlfriend. I don't like him, but to be nice I said O.K., I sent him a very harsh letter by e-mail, and now I feel guilty, Should I feel guilty? and Everybody says I am beautiful, but sometimes I don't seem to think so, sometimes I just think I'm fat but some people say I am the right size, a few say I am fatHow do I build my self confidence? My mom always blames things on me, if she's wrong she does'nt want to admit it.

well yes you should feel guilty...i suggest that you send him an e-mail saying that your sorry for what you said and just tell him the truth...tell him that you don't like him that way and that you only said yes because you didn't want to hurt his feelings...building your self confidence takes time and effort...you need to learn how to appreciate yourself and pick out the positive things about yourself..this will take time but be patient...hope this helped hun:)

Yes, you should feel very guilty. Even if he was kinda a jerk to you, there's no need to be an even bigger one back. If he's a jerk, then be the better person. You should apologize for that. Also, saying yes to his question is leading him on. I know, it's really hard to say no to stuff like that! I know I hate doing that in fear of hurting people. But you have to say no very kindly and easily, with a smile :). End with a compliment, like "you're very sweet, and I am flattered that you asked", something like that.

Okay, you should not have said O.K but i have been there and did the same thing BUT you were wrong to send a HARSH and MEAN email, i did that, i regret being so mean to someone who just liked me and was being nice to me, its not THIER fault that they like you, you should be flattered, and nice, and just say your sweet, but i just want to be freinds, i dont have feelings for you. i think that you should talk to this guy and be nice and try and patch things up because his feelings could REALY be hurt! and tahts NOt a good feeling to be hurt!...SO people say your beutiful people say yoru fat. W/E people say EVERYTHING when they are jelouse or envious who knows? but honestly your opinion matters most, and your confidence! so ify ou feel fat. just EAT healthy and work out. no crash diets or anthing like that though. but not saying you are fat, but eating healthy and exercise is GOOD FOR ALL SIZES and will make you feel VERY good and ENERGIZED ..!that will definaitly build up your self confidence, ad with your mom, ALL MOMS ARE LIKE THAt . they dont like to admit they are wrong but try and sit her down and talk to her! hopfully she will be understanding because i know she loves you,
hope i helped, lemme know
