I am always tired. I mean, ALWAYS. I can sleep for 9 hours and wake up tired, but I can also sleep for up to 12 hours and still be tired. No matter how long I sleep I'm always exhausted. It's really causing problems because I can't concentrate. This has been going on for a few months now. I thought I was just tired, but it hasn't gone away. I was just wondering if anyone knew any reasons why this might be. Any possible explinations would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Additional info, added Monday March 31 2008, 7:34 pm: I have already tried sleeping less, so I know it's not because I oversleep.. Want to answer more questions in the Health & Fitness category? Sleeping too much, 9 hours is too long, 12 hours is way too much so it's no wonder that you are tired, sleeping for this amount of time can make you feel unwell and exhausted. [ chakra's advice column | Ask chakra A Question ]

It turned out that that was it. He was getting too much sleep. So you can easily fix that. Try it. [ TheAnnie's advice column | Ask TheAnnie A Question ]

Just to do be sure this isn't the cause I would have a check up! Sometimes "oversleeping" can make you feel worse off than "undersleeping" - for example if about 8 hours is right for you - sleeping for 9 hours may make you feel worse when you wake up than sleeping 7 hours for example, I'm not really sure why this is but works for quite a few people I know, maybe you could try sleeping for 8 hours or slightly less (set an alarm) and see if this helps make you feel any better!
Good luck! [ burningXstar's advice column | Ask burningXstar A Question ]
