dear depressed,

please don't bottle up all of your feelings. it only makes it worse. and the thing is, you can cry if you want you. crying is good. it's ok to feel and be emotinal. you also have to talk to your brother. you have to tell him how you feel. or you have to tell your parents, a grandparent, a teacher at school, a friend, ANYBODY. you just need to vent and let these feelings out. don't feel like you can't tell anyone. because you can. you can tell anyone you want. try journaling to let it all out. or, you may even want to consider getting a counselor. they really can help with depression and help you work out your feelings in a healthy way.
ok, another thing. please don't hurt yourself. trust me, it's really not worth it. something like snapping rubber bands can lead to using erasers and then eventually cutting, which can get so bad so please don't ever ever do it. if you ever need any advice or anyone to talk to i will be here. i know how much depression hurts, but it can never get better unless you talk about it.

i hope everything works out =]

obviously you want to talk about it becasue you told everyone on advicenators.com.

when people ask whats wrong that means that people care about you and they want to help you and understand your point of view.

It is not good keeping things bottled up. I am not saying that you have to tell people, but let out your depression/ frustration differently. How about writing songs, keeping a journal, have an online diary. All these things are healthy ways of controling your feelings.

If you want help then you are going to have to be flexible and tell people whats wrong. If you do not tell anyone then no one can fix the problem

just please dont do anything that you will regret later.

And please no more snapping rubberbands... that does not solve anything. That just puts yourself down.

I am sorry if this is so long but I care about you even though I do not know you. I have been in the same boat as you. And believe it or not I can understand you. So please tell people so they can help. But calmly talk about it. And its OK to cry. Dont think that theres anything wrong with it because there isnt.

P.S. PEOPLE ON ADVICENATORS ARE HERE FOR YOU!!!
god bless you!!!

You could always cry when you are home alone. Try doing things that make you happy, like playing a sport, listenning to music, hanging out with friends, or reading. This may not make your depression go away, but it may make you happy for awhile. Try expressing your feelings through painting, writing, or some other form of art. You could always try talking to your brother about how he makes you feel, or talk to your parents about the way he makes you feel. If you really aren't happy at all, ever, you should talk to your parents and try to see a psychologist. They can be a big help, and if you really have clinicalmedication, they can give you medicine that will help. It's nothing to be ashamed of, many people are on depression medication. Or, if you really don't want to tell your parents about this, try talking to your friends, or a counselor at school. I hope this helps.
