benched for political reasons

I am a high school senior with a 4.0 grade average and a batting average of 600 but the coach benched me so that the grandson (an sophomore) of a schoolboard employee could play what should i do

Have you talked to the coach about this?
I can see letting a younger player have a chance to get in the game, but if you are completely benched for the season, that's not right.
Especially considering you could get a scholarship, but you have to PLAY for that.
