i am a 13 year old girl and i feel left out and i feel out of place like i am a rebel and i feel like im diffrent from everyone else and it is hard for me to be myself around anyone ecpecially my family and friends so can u tell me how to feel free to be myself and live up to my family legacy of rebeling?
TheFool answered Saturday July 5 2008, 9:07 pm: You sound like a normal 13 yr old to me. It's normal to feel like you need to rebel. Just try and get to know yourself better and work on your self esteem. It's okay to act differently around your friends and family than you do when alone. It doesn't mean you aren't acting like yourself. It just means that your friends and family serve different emotional needs you have and so you act accordingly. Don't worry about your behavior. If you don't want to rebel, you have the will power to stop it. [ TheFool's advice column | Ask TheFool A Question ]
