My boyfrineds best friend is lieing to me
So I have been dating this guy for 5 months and his best friend lyed to me and said that my boyfriend was going to dump me and i ened up crying the whole night. Then i asked my boyfriend and he said it was crazy. when i asked why is friend said that he said he was just being him.. and he is always doing stuff like that What should I do??

It sounds to me like his best friend is just jealous of the attention your boyfriend gives you and maybe the relationship. He was probably used to it just being the two of them hanging out all the time then you two got together. He may feel like the third wheel and want something to go wrong so he can have his friend back. You might want to try and discuss this with your boyfriend and his friend just to show him that you aren't trying to take his place. You are both just going to have to compromise and get along, because if you don't its going to cause major problems in the future.

Well, you now know that he may say things to you that aren't the truth. So what you do is ignore him if he says something like that again.
I'd say he's probably trying to get a rise out of you, if that's just "him being him."

I can't necessarily tell you exactly why he does that because everyone has their own reasons... but some friends just like to give their friend's girlfriends or boyfriends a bad time. My best friends are always teasing and messing with my boyfriend...it's just how they are. Now, what he did was a little over the top, but maybe he didn't know you would react to it like that. Maybe he meant to tell you, eventually, that it was a joke. I would ask your boyfriend exactly what he meant when he said "he was just being him". If his friend is going to treat you like that and your boyfriend isn't going to say anything to him about it, I would suggest you say something to your boyfriend...he should stick up for you...
