I personally think it's a gorgeous dress, and if you like it then go for it! Don't be afraid to take that chance. Chances are, you'll get tons of compliments and envy stares. If you feel good while you're wearing it and you're confident then you'll give off that vibe. It's definitely not too much.

No, I don't think it would be. It's a formal dress, and prom is a formal event. Very pretty choice!
