If you want to lose weight fast you need to do it the old fashion way. No crash diets, no pills. It's the safest and healthiest solution.
Of course, exercise a few times a week.
Drink a lot of water not only to flush everything out, but also because sometimes your body confuses hunger and thirst, you may be eating when water is all you need.
Spicy foods are great because they stimulate your taste buds to make you feel more satisfied.
Eat a little, often. Smaller meals throughout the day keep you going and satisfied. Bigger meals less often leave you wanting more.
Dinner should be the last meal you eat. If you get hungry later on be wise about what you choose and make it a smaller low calorie snack.
Try the book "Eat This, Not That" by David Zinczenko. It'll show you that foods you though were health really aren’t and that what you considered unhealthy may be a better choice.
Always think about if you're really eating out of habit, boredom, or stress. If that's the case drop the chips and go do something productive away from a food source.
TheAnnie answered Saturday March 15 2008, 5:23 pm: not eating is very bad for you. your body need nutrients from the food to eat to funtion. not eating will take that away and you body will have to do other things to get that nutrient (this is bad because it will stop some funtions in your body)
so not eating is not the answer to loosing weight. eat, just make it healthy. do you know the food phyramid? follow the portions and guildlines it says about food.

It sounds crazy, but it's true.
I had an eating disorder, anorexia, and although I lost a lot of weight, I gained a lot too.
Not eating will slow your metabolism a great amount. Your metabolim is basically the speed of your digestion. The slower your body digests, the more weight you gain.
So, your best bet is to just eat healthier. If you eat healthy and excercise you could lose a healthy 2ish pounds a week. It's not healthy to lose more than 2-3 pounds a week.
BUT, when you do start losing the weight, people will notice. Also, when you lose weight the natural way, rather than starving yourself, you get this really cool glow about you. Your skin looks a lot better and you don't get all bony and gross.
So, it would take an EXTREMELY long time to lose weight from not eating because of how unhealthy it is. You body would start storing every bit of food you do eat making you gain weight, quickly.
