I don't know what photographs you're talking about but I'll give you advice anyways...
A good camera is great, but the knowledge behind it is essential. If you're really serious about starting photography I suggest taking a class. You need to decide whether you want to do traditional or digital photography. I do digital and it's great because you can do a lot with it. If you want digital try the Canon Rebel xT. It's great for beginners and the "serious amateur" who does photography as more of a hobby.
If you're not really serious about photography and want a camera that just produces a nice quality try one of these...

If you do end up going digital remember that when you're taking photographs in black and white it's better to take it in color and convert it to grayscale on some sort of photoshop program later. It'll have a better quality because you are getting more variation.

How many days of not eating will it take to start losing weight? (link)
|
Not eating makes you gain weight for a while before you even start to lose anything. So not only is it terrible for you in the first place, but if you're trying to lose weight fast it won't even work.
If you want to lose weight fast you need to do it the old fashion way. No crash diets, no pills. It's the safest and healthiest solution.
Of course, exercise a few times a week.
Drink a lot of water not only to flush everything out, but also because sometimes your body confuses hunger and thirst, you may be eating when water is all you need.
Spicy foods are great because they stimulate your taste buds to make you feel more satisfied.
Eat a little, often. Smaller meals throughout the day keep you going and satisfied. Bigger meals less often leave you wanting more.
Dinner should be the last meal you eat. If you get hungry later on be wise about what you choose and make it a smaller low calorie snack.
Try the book "Eat This, Not That" by David Zinczenko. It'll show you that foods you though were health really aren’t and that what you considered unhealthy may be a better choice.
Always think about if you're really eating out of habit, boredom, or stress. If that's the case drop the chips and go do something productive away from a food source.
And of course, diet for your health, never for your appearance. Dieting to be thin leaves you dissatisfied with the results.

Usually I'm the one who is giving advice, but here goes nothing...
I seriously think I'm a shopaholic. Ever since I got an ATM card and car when I was 15, I would go to the mall everyday. I buy so many things I don't need. Sometimes I feel bad and return a few things.
It doesn't help that I'm pretty well off, the mall is two miles down the street, and the only stores in there are designer stores. Besides clothes and jewelry, I buy a lot of MAC makeup and my haircut costs $75.
All of these are things I don't need and could live without. I will sound spoiled for saying this but I'm so into luxury it's kind of hard to downgrade.
In addition, I drive an SUV which is roughly $60-70 a tank. I drive around a lot. Most of my money goes to gas, shopping and eating out all the time.
The only thing that has stopped is that I'm away at college now. Not having a car has really stopped me from buying so much, but I fear that once school is over, I'm going to go back to the same thing again. I went home for spring break for one week and spent $500. I don't even know where it went.
I am so ashamed because this money is supposed to be for my tuition. Hell, I've never worked a day in my life but I'm very serious about starting when I get back. Unfortunately, I feel like I'm going to spend my paycheck the day that I get it.
What do I have to do or say to stop my urges? I feel so guilty every time I come home with a trunkload shopping bags, but I just can't help myself. What should I tell myself? Does anyone else have this problem? (link)

Well, first of all you should get a job. If you're worried that you'll spend it all right away then make sure you go to your bank and set it up so that part of your paycheck is automatically moved from you checking account to a savings account.
If you're willing to sell your car to buy a smaller more gas efficient one it would not only save you a lot of gas money, but also help the environment.
Whenever you and your friends go out for a shopping day try setting a budget for yourself. Take it out in cash and leave all checks, debit, and credit cards at home. That way you can only spend what you have. Make sure you’re being reasonable too, don’t take out more than you’ll need just because you may want to buy more.
Never impulse buy. Shop around constantly. Always always always research your big ticket items.
When you're doing things like getting your hair cut or your nails done or anything else like that try a couple of different places the next few times you go. You'll eventually find someplace that is less expensive that you like just as much.
Write down everything you purchase, even if it only cost you a dollar. Write it all down and look at what you’re really spending. It may scare you, but maybe that's what you need.
If all else fails, did you ever think of hypnotherapy? I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous right? But hey, it worked for my grandpa when he quit smoking. It could work for you.
