periods

Question Posted Sunday March 9 2008, 7:28 pm

ok i am 15 year old girl and i have had my period before but i havn't had it in a long time. it has been like 10 months. When it was summer i didn't have it at all and i went to the doctor and she said it was because i was in sports and always exersising. But summer ended along time ago and i havnt been exersising like at all. In the 10 months i have probably had it 3 times but only for 2 or 3 days and it was small ones. I know i am not pregnant. But i dont know if it is serious or not. Should i go to the doctor or should i just not worry about it?

I think you either have a funny period patern or it's serious... regardless of which one it is i'd go see your doctor because you never know what could be going on. It's better to be safe then Sorry.
I hope it all turns out ok and i hope i helped you a little. X

Sounds like you're a lucky girl to me. Doc saids that it's fine then it's fine. Enjoy a lot more freedom than most girls get from their periods.

since your young your period will still be really irregular and you'll skip months and its possible you'll get it more than once in some months but thats normal. if it never becomes regular over the next year or so then i would consult a doctor about it again.

remember one thing. every girl has different period cycles. probably there isnt anything seriously wrong with you but i suggest you go to the doctor and she what he/she tells you to do.
