Same here. I'm quiet too and used to have the same issue. Now, sounds to me you haven't met the right guy. There's one guy that I have VERY strong feelings for and I can flirt with him. Any other guy, I can't seem to. My advice, don't be in such a hurry. When the time is right, it will happen on it's own. You just need to find the right person.

Don't be in such a hurry to date a dork. I only say that because if any of them stood out to you initially, you wold know exactly what to do. It's natures way of keeping you from a bad misjudgment.
My advice would be to keep your guy pals, learn what they like and use the "man-knowledge" to your advantage for when you spot your guy that has the same glimmer in his eye as you do for him. trust me, he's out there. Dont settle for less....or you could miss mr right.

I am the same way. I can be kinda quiet and stuff too. So you just need to get the courage and put yourself out there. But don't lead a bunch of guys on, that can lead to a whole lot of trouble. So I hope everything works out for you.

Seems to me like you just haven't met the right guy yet. Over time, I'm sure you'll meet someone who will make you the happiest person on earth, and sometimes the way life works is that when so much bad has happened, you'll truly cherish the good.
