ok..i skipped a period and i'm not sexually active.what is up with that? i do't know what it is supposed to mean, it is kidna weird. Can anyone tell me what is wrong or what is up? thanks in advance!!

They can come early, late and some people can skip them altogether.
There may be a reason why you skipped yours, the most common being through stress/worry/a change in your diet. There are other reasons, too, such as excessive exercise, medications you may be taking etc.
If you get any more symptoms, or you keep skipping them, I suggest you see a doc. but for now, don't let it worry you because it's fairly common. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
MAK answered Tuesday March 4 2008, 2:25 am: I just wanted to add to YoungGrandma's great answer: I don't know your age or when you got your period, but the first couple of years after you start menstruating its pretty normal to skip a period. And again, stress, change in diet, change in weight, and medication can make your period weird.
