Explain this joke?

Question Posted Sunday March 2 2008, 12:51 pm

Ok so its pretty much a fact that I'm slow whn it comes to jokes. But seriously -- does this one make sense? Really? Cause if it does someone better explain it to me!

Q: What do you get when you have a pencil + a pen?
A: Pen-N-Cil?

What the heck? lol

Is it like "Pen And Cil?" cause in that case - what the heck is a cil?

It's just taking the begining of 'pen' and adding it onto the last three letters of 'pencil' just to re-create the word (in this case, it would be the word 'pencil' again).

This is really bad joke which was clearly thought up very quickly and desperately. You're quite right not to know what it means, even i didn't at first!!!

I hope this helped,
triquetra

I agree with both you and Alin... I have absolutely no idea what the joke is. I also googled bits and pieces of this and nothing came up online.

I'd ask whomever you heard it from. They should know...
