Ok, I've been searching for days and I just can't find anything! I really need an inspirational story on change - like on HOW something changed, and then HOW it affected the person! I thought I'd find lots but I can't find anything! Please help!
the bible holds alot of them, but also many other book and inspider sripture.
one is found in the Old Testiment; the story of Naaman and his leporsy (found in the book of second Kings 5th chapter) Naaman had leporsy ( a bad skin distorder) and went to the prophet
"Elisha" to be cured. Elisha's messager told Naaman what he had to do. at 1st Naaman didn't like it but resived the blessing of health by his obedinces.
another is found within a set of sriptures known as the Book of Mormon. this story is of a boy name Alma the younger (or Jr. in our time), he was as bad as you could posibly get, till one day an angel of God stuck him down and felt the power God. Alma when his heart was ready to repent of his sins and eperince a "mighty change of Heart" he desribes his exprenice as this "Yea, I say unto you,... that there could be nothing so exquisite and so bitter as were my pains. Yea, and again I say unto you,... that on the other hand, there can be nothing so exquisite and sweet as was my joy." Book of Alma chapter 36 number 21 (found in the book of Mormon). Alma became a powerful servent of God afterwards.
for fictional/ Non-Sritural stories, your best bet would be found in Charles Dixion "A Christams Carol" Scroge went from a old Miser to a "Changed Man" for he saw the true meaning of Christmas.
if you would like more stories or this didn't anwser your question you can write to me. another place you can check out www.mormon.org
