my new computer is messed up

I JUST GOT THIS NEW COMPUTER AND on the bottom taskbar always disapears and turns black.and when i try to open a folder it turns into this thing that looks like a speaker.and like it shows all the things im runing on the bottom bar.but sometimes that will scoot al the way over next to the start button.then i have to click one site to get to another.i have a compaq windows computer.help me out with this problem

Contact your manufacturer or the place you bought it from, theyll probably tell you what your problem is or give you a new one etc.
