I have dry, flaky skin and it's hard to find a foundation right for my skin type. I really want something to moisturize my face, but also cover all my imperfections and smooth everything out. Does anyone have anything they would recommend?

It should have a brochure beside it so you can test your skin to see which skin type best suits you. When you get home use St. Ives Apricot Scrub on your face. It will make your face soft and help heal the dry, rough skin. Put the foundation on. It is nice because the foundation is not a liquid or a dry foundation either. It is kind of a mix between both. After you put the foundation on kind of rub your skin so that the foundation blends more with your skin tone. After that you want to put some lotion on. I recommend the lotion that you find in Bath and Body Works because their lotion works well with dry skin. It makes your face have a more natural glow.

then, put on your foundation.
note: if you only have a few stray pimples, you don't need foundation all of your face, JUST on those places. i hope you knew that.
ok foundation suggestion = l'oreal paris ideal balance balancing foundation. it's so light and smooth and it doesn't cake.
also, i noticed that my foundation starts caking when i put too much powder on. so more liquid, less finishing powder.
