schizophrenic

Question Posted Wednesday February 27 2008, 9:51 pm

17/f.
ive been really good friends with this guy for a couple years. he's always liked me and i liked him a while ago. one night he completely flipped out and thought a lot of things happened which didnt. it was kinda hard for me cause i liked him and everything. well i guess he is a schizophrenic. its been almost a year since that happened and he's on medication and he seems better. im beginning to like him again, and that isnt really a problem, cause i know he likes me too. i just dont want him to flip out on me again, what should i do?

follow your heart. If you say hes doing better and hes on medication then go for it. Plus if he flips out again then at least he knows your there for him.

schizophrenic people are dellusional. they either see things that aern't there or hear things that normal people wouldn't hear. it actually is just something a person't born with and there's no known cure for it, only that you can take litheum to surpress it, or if the person's will power is strong enough, they can surpress it. there's actually nothing you can do to prevent this from happening, but it can lessen, maybe by changing the enviornment around him. maybe by making it seem more trusting

are you sure hes a schizophrenic? well, anyways, doesnt matter if he was, because this goes for any mental illness. but if you really like him, then you guys can work it out.
