i'm just like you too. stress is all around us and we wish constantly to make it go away and just relax with a nice movie and a comfy bed.

I learned that you can cope with stress many different ways. First way is not to keep it bottled up inside you because one day you'll explode and it won't be good.

Find something you enjoy- for me its listening to music and dancing. for other people it could be painting, or making a movie, or photography, or even going on a vacation. So find what you enjoy doing when you're not doing your usual day activities.

as for learning things fast, the only way I can think of that is planning things out. For example, say you need to study for a history test, math test, english test, and health test all in one day. First choose the subject that is most important. then spend about a half an hour studying that (notecards help me soo much) then take a little break by stretching, or working out (something to get the blood flowing. so that means no TV or computer. Running around is a great break) Then switch subjects and studying another one. Then break, then new subject etc... Then once you're done studying for all of the subjects. Have someone quiz you and keep doing that method.

For sleeping- Try doing something to help you relax before sleeping. watch a movie, take a hot bath, take a walk outside, stargaze, listen to calm music etc. Then when you crawl into your bed, take a VERY deep breathe and sigh. close your eyes and think of everything good that happened that day. (for me it would be like- getting an A on a test, or talking to the guy i've liked for so long) Continue to take deep slow breathes and lay still. Moving around in bed makes your blood flow and thus making you not sleep. So try to get in a comfortable position and lay there. I listen to music before I sleep because it just helps me relax more.

when you're stressed out, make sure you're getting all of the essential needs that a normal person needs. Brushing your teeth 2 times a day, taking a shower every other day, eating a healthy meal 3 times a day, drinking lots and lots of water, exercising. Studies show that someone who is lazy and don't care for their body are more likely to be stressed and tried.

also make sure you're getting 8-9 hours of sleep. no more than that because its un healthy, and no less because you're body needs to regain energy from the nights before.

I hope I helped!

First of all, here are some really good websites to go to for information:
Goggle.com (that's obvious, I know, but in case you didn't know...)
Wikipedia.org
Sparknotes.com (this is for book reports & analyis)
Ask.com
answers.yahoo.com (this isn't that good)
encyclopedia.com
reference.com

Okay. I'm not sure if I can be that much help with the sleep thing but here's what I did when I had that problem:
take a long, warm bubble/scented bath before you sleep
listen to your radio/CD player/IPod while you're sleeping (I'm not sure if this would be more of a distraction while you sleep)
read a book
do your homework on the bed (that way, I get sleepier and sleepier because I'm doin boring stuff on a bed, and by the time I'm done, I'm ready to sleep)
if your bed is nearby the window, open the curtains and stare at the stars/moon/streetlight/sky while you're on bed.
Try not to think of trying to go to sleep because it get's harder to sleep that way!

Nightynight!

First thing, you first paragraph, was a very long run on sentence. I wish i was pro like that. I dont know how you can "destress", (sp?) but it seems like your trying to take to much on at once.

You should take a step back and relax. Try to think things through before you start working on them. It will go faster that way.

You cannot learn things in a short amount of time. That is why you go to school for 13 years at 9 months each year. The human brain doesn't learn speedily. We are not super fast processing computers.

If you want to sleep better, you should try relaxing before you sleep. Take a long hot shower, or a bubble bath. Treat yourself to somthing new.

Dont eat before you sleep, it causes stress and bloating in the morning.

Hope i helped
