i won my school spelling bee and on march 8, im moving on to the district local spelling bee. i am not experienced, so give me some tips to do good and not be scared and nervous! confidence tips and spelling tips if i dont know the word, and how to accept if i dont move on to the nevxt round... well because i am a very COMPETITIVE competitor, and i have NEVER experienced anything like this before and for me to lose this thing for the first and last time, i would DIEEEEEEE.
I want this so bad. More than anything else, for me to move on to at least the regionals would be perfection, especially coz im NEW to this, as i mentioned earlier.
Ive seen akeelah and the bee and she won even she was new to it, and i really want to win this year, especially because it is my last year. [im in eighth grade]
SO I ASK OF YOU TO GIVE ME SOME SPELLING TIPS, AND CONFIDENCE TIPS.
thank you very much and WISH ME GOOOOOOD LUCK AND HOPEFULLY I MAKE IT TO THE REGIONALS!!! :)

Eat something large the night before that way you stomach is full through the night because you want to eat light before the competition. Stretch before the competition it will help loosen your nerves and muscles in the body that causes tension. A good way to know that you are on top of the game is to buy a dictionary and browse the words. Even by looking at them you have a good idea how they are spelled. Get someone even to test your skills make sure you are on top of things. [ Advicelady6798's advice column | Ask Advicelady6798 A Question ]
